Jodi Harris - memories

December 2022

I've been thinking fondly of Jodi and wanted to share this memory with her family if it brings them even one moment of peace this holiday season:

To: The Harris Family: I know Jodi as someone who lived an incredible, loving, teacher-first life and I am so grateful to have known her. I feel her teachings every day I walk, and I am grateful—thanks in a significant way to her—to be recently appointed President of Mass Bay Brewing Co.

I would not be in this position without Jodi. I am forever grateful to you for sharing Jodi with us at her work. I am so thankful. She continues to be a beaming, inspiring light for me, and many more. I believe with every part of me that we will see her again—and I know I feel her presence with me most days. Thank you again.

With love and peace,

_Derek

ACT Champions of Good

Jodi Harris,
Global Vice President,
Marketing Culture & Capabilities,
Anheuser-Busch InBev

As global vice president of marketing culture & capabilities, Jodi was instrumental in driving transformational change within AB InBev (ABI). Her passion for learning and creativity innovated the brand through reative excellence, colleague engagement and industry leadership during her tenure. She always put people first and encouraged ABI to become more of a human business. Jodi inspired all around her that creativity can make the world a better place and great ideas can come from anywhere. Jodi believed that although ABI was a global company, it had strong ties to local communities and a responsibility to support people. Within the first 90 days of the COVID-19 Pandemic, she spearheaded 100 new initiatives to help people around the world. One initiative Jodi championed was the recently launched "Together for a Better World," a global ideas platform to support their communities and partners through the challenging times of the pandemic. ABI's brand purpose of "bringing people together for a better world" was something Jodi lived each and every day. She also was a champion of AB InBev's "Women in Beer" employee resource group, which includes programming and mentoring from women at all levels of the organization. Jodi was a great mentor because she was such an honest and generous person herself. She helped make those around her better with her presence and we are a better agency at FCB from knowing her as our client and dear friend. Although Jodi passed away earlier this year, she leaves behind an incredible legacy and is most deserving of the 2022 ACT Champion for Good Award.
