ICAN Programs and Services
ICAN deals with Stage IV cancer patients. ICAN is currently on Wait List status for many of the cancers we handle. Before you transfer/mail us your medical record or before you fax your records or email us the status of your case, please call ICAN at 602-618-0183 to verify if we are still on Wait List.
The patient must call ICAN directly. You can understand that it's very common at ICAN for a patient's family, friends, and/or colleagues to reach out to ICAN about a particular patient without fully understanding the patient's case (or without the patient's buy-in that he or she even wants or needs patient advocacy services). We observe HIPAA to the nth degree, and we do not discuss the patient's case with third parties without express permission.
ICAN Patient Services
ICAN's Cancer Patient Advocacy Programs, Clinical Trials Advocacy Programs, Tumor Information Services, and Anticancer Drug Information Services are specifically tailored to each individual patient and are based on the information that the patient's medical team has documented.
ICAN respects patient privacy and observes the strictest privacy guidelines so that patients, advocates, and physicians can use the Remission CoachSM website or contact ICAN with complete confidence. Despite the fact that ICAN does not dispense medical advice, we do provide patient advocacy and empowerment in the form of creative, detailed information as well as treatment options which patients subsequently share with their medical teams in order to make crucial decisions – at key turning points – in their battle for life.
