Friends and Family Share Their Memories and Tributes

Noona. You weren't my cousin, you were my brother. I still expect you to come through the garage and joke around with Diyana, Ronza, and Patrick. The long late nights laughs with me and Jenelle.

Noona was the one that made sure we all had our plates and drinks on Thursdays when we would gather as a family. He would see us eating and give us napkins. He would see us reach for food and deliver the food to us.

I'm sorry I never got to dance in front of you at your wedding. Instead I'll read this letter for you. From now on, every time we gather on Thursdays, there won't be a second where we won't remember you. You left a hole in our hearts.

Your memory will never be forgotten, and your legacy will always be remembered. Noona has not passed, noona is celebrating, he's with amo Taffo.

Don't worry about Khalto Yana. Don't worry about Bano, Essa and Ranse. Your family will be taken care of.

Your dad missed you and now he finally gets to hug you. You're now with your dad, and my dad, your uncles, your grandparents, and even some cousins. You're not alone in heaven. You're celebrating with the rest of our family.

Noona was too good for this world and this world was not enough for Noona.

Essa. Ranse. Bano. Your brother is happy.

Khalto Yana, your son is happy.

Mama Yana, mom. I was 31 years old with you, I want to spend the rest with baba. Don't worry about me, I'm in heaven with baba and amo jabar. I'm happy. I love you.

Ranse, my oldest brother. Take care of mom. I'm watching you, keep our family safe. I love you.

Ronza, Take care of Issa. I want your beautiful family to grow together.

Jenelle, every time Noona would joke with you and pick on you, he did it because of how much he loved you, you were his baby sister.

Patrick, the endless laughs and jokes we had is something I'll tell your dad about. Make me and your dad proud.

My mom would joke with you saying she wanted to get you married. You didn't let her get the chance. You changed all of our lives. Life will never be the same without you.

Issa, Noona is telling you "I want you to think of me, I want your kids to remember me. I loved your kids so much. I love you."

Diyana, Noona wanted to dance at your wedding. He knew that Bano picked the perfect girl. You were Noona's sister. As Noona always said "Good luck taking care of Bano for the rest of your lives."

Bano, Noona is in heaven. He says "Happy Birthday little brother. Make sure your birth is celebrated to the fullest."

Bano, dad has asked me about you. He's proud of you and now both of us are watching over you. I love you little brother.

This isn't goodbye. This is a see you later. Don't forget us, because we'll never forget you. Please watch over us. We love you. Long live Nawras Qasdano.
