Friends and Family Share Their Memories

The hole in our heart just can't seem to be filled. We are so grateful that you are being remembered through the generosity of many who loved you with the hope that it will help others dealing with catastrophic diagnoses. Mom and Dad miss you so baby.

Today, family and friends came together to celebrate the life and mourn the death of our beautiful Robyne.

Our friend and Rabbi Irwin Wiener spoke so eloquently and comforted us enormously with his wisdom and kindness.

Thank you one and all who supported our family these horrendous four years.

-- Sylvia and Art Wexler

I couldn't ask for a more loving, caring and very smart sister. A best friend that I can't imagine not spending the rest of my life growing old with.... We take things for granted that we will always have more to spend more time together. The truth is we should all live like we are dying....

Robyne never complained, always had a love for simple things..whether she was celebrating her birthday or Hanukkah her wish list was always filled with small non-material items...it's funny we used to joke I would rather just receive one really nice gift verses lots of little gifts.

I have a hole in my heart that can never be filled. A sister's love and bond can never be replaced....

My only hope and wish is that Robyne is now pain free and partying like a Rockstar. Grandma Wexler was calling her for several times over the past 4 years during her illness, asking her to come be with her. Robyne would tell her no, she wasn't ready.........Now I know she was ready...she fought so hard up until her last breath....

I love you so much and will miss talking to you everyday! Rest in peace.....

For some time, we have affectionately referred to Robyne as the picture perfect poster girl for brain cancer. Her courage, determination and spirit have lifted others and will continue to do so through this program. -- Sherry Weinstein, Chairman, ICAN Board of Trustees
