Friends and Family Share Their Memories and Tributes

My sister's sudden passing due to cancer left me heartbroken. She was a wonderful, kind, and vibrant human being—loved and remembered by many for her sense of humor, generosity, and most of all, a loving and kind sister, daughter, mom and aunts to her nephews and nieces. She was a vibrant spirit that enlightened the whole room and a very down to earth person as many of her friends described her. She was also a pet mom to her dogs Coco, Frauline, Sgt., Brooke, Sushi, Popcorn, BBM, and her cat, Mingkay.

With her infectious laughter and a natural compassionate personality, she was a simple woman who loved to sing karaoke to her favorite songs, " I Just Fall in Love Again" by Anne Murray and the song of local artist in the Philippines, Sarah Geronimo, " A Very Special Love."

Solien was simple woman in that her desire in life was to be happy. She was a dedicated sister who unwaveringly prioritized the needs of our family. Her reliability and accessibility are truly appreciated. Whenever I needed solace or reassurance, I could count on her to offer me wings of comfort.

Losing her in our family is like each of our lives was taken away. I lost a very humble, loving, kind, and God-fearing sister. She is in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ now. No more pain and suffering but at peace and full of happiness. She is our angel that we borrowed from above. Our night and morning star looking upon us down here. I love you Yen, and we love you so much. Till we meet again my dear sister,

Cheeryl Quino
